Promotions at A to Z Printing

(Lincoln, Nebr.—November 18, 2007) A to Z Printing announced the promotion of Miriah Zajic from office administrator to vice president of administration and Rob Settell from production manager to vice president of operations.
Zajic’s new responsibilities are related to finance and marketing, managing human resources and overseeing the company’s environmental programs, including spearheading the creation of the Lincoln sustainable business committee under Lincoln Green by Design. She was instrumental in leading the company to certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). A to Z is the state’s only FSC certified printer.
A native of Lincoln, Zajic holds anthropology and sociology degrees from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She belongs to a variety of civic organizations, including Lincoln Green by Design, the Child Advocacy-Take a Stand Committee and the Clinton Backpack Program. She is an Admiral in the Nebraska Navy and a member of Guerilla Gardeners, a local women’s activist group.

As vice president of operations, Settell oversees the A to Z Printing press and bindery staff, manages a job tracking system he and Zajic designed, and leads the company’s quality control, procurement, maintenance and training departments.
Settell draws on more than 35 years of work in the printing industry, from quick printing to commercial offset printing. Settell is active in A to Z’s many community projects, most recently serving as a reader in the Foundation for Lincoln Libraries Leaders are Readers program.
“Miriah and Rob already have served as valued members of the A to Z management group,” said Sue Quambush, president. “Our customers can feel confident that their projects are in good hands, thanks to their leadership abilities.”
